The power of words to change people's mind

Most of the time, our current school environment is constructed without relating to the three most essential domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. All three components are crucial for successful students development.

In Ted’s video, the Behavioral Science guys also mentioned another important aspect- giving our learners a safe environment is vital to enhancing their knowledge thirst.

According to Professor Asacker, people’s opinions are based on aesthetics (look and feel), control, and identity (how our choices affect our future).

The desire which connects to our Identity keeps people engaged and interested. Our personal truth moves us.

Facts and information are essential to draw the general visualization, but it won’t inspire people to follow us for our change.

If we want to change people’s minds, we need to make it a powerful message to touch their hearts. This kind of message we should apply in our final video assignment. Our audience needs to get something personal that involves their own desire to adopt a new way of doing things.
