5318: Instructional Design
5318 had me pulling all of my pieces that were created in other classes together to begin forming one cohesive Instructional Design with Blended Learning. This gave me time and the opportunity to organize my thoughts and the learning process I wanted to follow. We were tasked with creating our own course using our preferred LMS (Learning Management System). The usability testing allowed me to receive very effective feedback from other teachers on my team and from my administrators. From their feedback and participation input, I was able to make changes and adjust the course.
The Instructional Design video is an overview of the course layout and components and why this course is an essential piece in my innovative project - implementing Blended Learning in Special Education units..
The Learning Course Implementation video is an overview of the implementation of the Start Here, and Modules 1 -5 of the Math course- Properties of Equations, Expressions, and Inequalities
I want to present to you my designed course, which I created as a part of my Master's Degree in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University.
This course is designed for 65 students across six special education units at Elementary Schools.
Subject Math _Properties of Equations, Expressions, and Inequalities.
This usability testing process allowed me to see where students would most likely struggle or have issues accessing the course, and it allowed me to address the problems before releasing it to my student body. So, the usability testing process was beneficial for me, and I m glad I can make some needed corrections to my course to simplify my students’ user experience.
